Structural Engineering

Structural design is the art and science of making the architect’s visualizations constructible by using suitable materials and forms, with primary focus on the safety of the intended occupants while ensuring economy in construction. In doing so, the structural engineer determines the optimum amount of construction materials to be used and the correct locations to deploy them, by testing and verifying the proposed solution against gravity and other environmental loads like wind, earthquake, temperature, rain, snow, etc.,

It is so an intricate process that inadequate design of the structure may render the building not usable or worse, unsafe, while over designed elements will affect project’s feasibility.
